Blue Bird Policy Rate Calculations Rates quoted for service provided Bluebird bases estimates on the information given at the time of booking. Final charges will be assessed upon service completion based on the actual services provided. Additional charges may also apply to changes in routing or service, tolls, parking, special requests and waiting time. Rates are calculated by a city’s central area and may be higher based on the actual location where service is provided. Rates are subject to increases during holidays and peak times. Standard freeway rate starts from $2.50 per mile and local routes or non-freeway travel starts from $3.50 per mile. Any special price offer is strictly for point-to-point transfer only and, does not include any extra stops or waiting time. Additional Charges Changes in service may result in additional charges. For major changes or delays including lost luggage on arrivals, it is the responsibility of the passenger to contact Bluebird. Bluebird will do its best to accommodate the passenger but may result in a delay and/or additional charges. Due to earlier arrivals or delays, it may be necessary for Bluebird to substitute vehicles that will still accommodate the number of passengers but will not result in any additional charges for upgrades unless the passenger requests the upgrade. The passenger shall pay any bridge tolls to the destination. A car seat/booster seat is available upon request for $12.Actual charges for cell phone usage; extra stops, special parking and toll fees would be added to estimated fare. There is 15 minutes grace period for all the trips after the scheduled pickup time. We monitor the status of all commercial flights once the grace period has elapsed additional fees are charged at the rate of $1.00 per minute or $50.00 per hour for all airport and non-airport transportation services. Extra stops would be billed at regular price, which is not less than $20 per stop. Vehicle Damage/Cleaning Policy No Smoking Smoking is not allowed in Bluebird vehicles. However, our chauffeurs will gladly stop as frequently as possible for you to enjoy a smoke outside the vehicle. The party paying for the reservation is responsible for all damages and/or cleaning charges incurred by the renter and/or party of the renter, including but not limited to: Vomit/Sickness ($285 Cleaning Fee), Liquid spillage ($100 Cleaning Fee), Burns ($1000 Replacement/Repair), Upholstery Tears ($500 Replacement/Repair) and/or opening a car door into another vehicle or stationary Object etc. Payment Methods Your credit card is a guarantee of your reservation. Cancellations must be made 12 hours in advance to avoid the total amount due to be charged to your credit card. If you choose to pay your driver directly with cash, your driver can only obtain receipts. We offer following convenient options for making a payment: We accept all major credit card, cashier check, travel check and cash as payment, though credit card is required to make reservations. You can pay cash directly to Bluebird driver. Flight delayed/Flight cancellation We monitor your flight for last minute of arrival, but if you decide to take early or later flight please call us to update the information. Bluebird does not monitor private flights; therefore, wait time charges will apply 15 minutes after the estimated arrival time. Reservation Cancellation Policy A 4 hours advance notice is required to change or cancellation of airport transportation. A 12 hours advance notice is required to change or cancel a non-airport reservation. Upon failure to cancel services in time frames specified, you will be charged full service rate. Cancellation fees are waived for emergencies. Bluebird or its drivers have full right to cancel any return trip transfer reservation due to following reasons without any prior notice. a) Trip is not prepaid for full two ways service in advance and passenger(s) refused to pay full return trip two-way price on first drop (Off. Passengers are too much drunk and show violent verbal or physical behavior. If driver has another hourly reservation between two assigned transfers and third party extends there service hours or any other situation beyond human control. No-Show Policy No show/service not used reservations will be charged at the full trip price plus any waiting time. Bluebird reserves the right to terminate any reservation at any time in the best interest of customer safety, driver safety, vehicle safety, and federal/state/local laws.
